WhatsApp is a gigantic messaging service with over one billion daily users. Recently, WhatsApp rolled out end-to-end encryption, the popular messaging platform ensured the folks that the chats are secured from any unwanted third-party attention. What is End to End Encryption?

It is a way of transmitting a message so that it can be read by the particular recipient, not intercepted by accessing the servers or the networks through which the message is sent. Instead of sending a message as a plain text, the message is scrambled as a coded series of digits that needs a key held only by the sender and the receiver.

Actually, the keys are ephemeral, which means that they will disappear after the message is unscrambled, so it cannot be unlocked afterward.
